2015 - 2018

Acquired in 2020, Rocketrip was a business travel platform that helped companies save money by rewarding employees for spending less.

I was part of the team to raise Series B funding in 2016, and Series C funding in 2018 led by Google Ventures.

Employee #12

I joined Rocketrip as the sole designer, owning end-to-end visual execution. I worked with the Sales, Marketing and Product teams to create high-impact visuals across a complex B2B2C ecosystem.

Marketing Site Redesign

Goal
Overhaul Rocketrip’s site to speak to the core motivations of enterprise buyers.

Roles
Research, Content Creation, Wireframes, Design, Illustration, HTML, CSS.

High-Converting Content

I partnered with Marketing Associate, Charlie Schaub to increase top-of-funnel leads.

We created content for three disparate audiences: CFOs, corporate travel managers, and HR leaders. Each group was directed to a custom landing page.

My role was to design content and landing pages that appealed to each audience, with a unified look & feel.

Multiple audiences, one visual identity.

Our work drove a significant spike in lead conversion.

“Rocketrip was able to increase the number of leads at the top of the funnel, for less money while also increasing conversions — win, win situation. While a bit more difficult to quantify, the effort also led to Rocketrip CEO, Dan Ruch getting a weekly column in Inc. Which led to cool things happening, such as the CDO of McDonalds tweeting about it.”
